Clients & Connections

Lines should blur during these ecolutionary times as partners become clients and clients become network connections. The ties that form during these associations make all groups stronger and more sustainable.

THE GREENING of BUILDINGS

LACCD Builds Green - The Los Angeles Community College District serves over 200,000 students covering nine campuses. It currently is applying $5.7 billion in funding to build LEED certified buildings while creating, teaching and providing green jobs for the diverse LA community.

Coordinating the actions of hundreds of contractors, architects, designers, for 80 structures across nine campuses is daunting. To help clear up who-does-what and what paperwork must be signed, we worked with David Niemerow to create the first “Touch Point Handbook” — a business model to follow when a top-down business model isn’t appropriate.

Green Building Pages - A sustainable product benchmarking system based on over 160 questions, provides easy sourcing, sustainable attribute comparisons and fast location of LEED credits. Its extensive assessment system helps companies understand the emerging market and where they can improve to become more competitive.

ANEW - A 501 non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, organizing and re-purposing surplus furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for donation to the under-served and those who support them. ANEW Foundation does what’s right with what’s left.

Nubu – All interiors, all sustainable, all the time.

THE GREENING of CONSUMERS

In Women We TrustMy personal blog highlighting women and actions for a more sustainable planet. Women buy/influence over 80% of consumer goods, as the dominate buyers we have the power and responsibility to select better products with lower carbon footprints across the supply chain.  After the world turns green the new economy will be driven by what the female consumer wants.
